Brake Lininig RivetsChange in Finish Specification
We will be contacting our customers in the near future to advise of a change in our standard finish on brake lining rivets. We currently have a mix of zinc and clear, zinc and yellow, waxed, un waxed etc. we intend to standardise on Zinc 5 microns with a clear trivalent enhanced passivate, waxed. this will ensures that the parts we supply to the brake lining industry are fully REACH and EVLD compliant. Obviously it will take some time for our current stocks to run down and the new finish to become established. The only change our custmers should experience is that the products will appear silver rather than yellow (as the predominant finish currently is Zinc and Yellw passivate)
